About Me
Yvonne Treacy Interior Design grew from a passion for art and a desire to realise peoples dream homes.
My passion for art and design began at a young age and evolved through a career in fashion before transitioning to interior design. Working with designers and fashion brands, I honed my skills in colour, design, and style.
Living in Germany for over 20 years, I gained invaluable experience in interior design and observed the impact of cultural differences on home styling. This journey, combined with extensive research and travel, deepened my understanding and love for interior design.
After returning to Kilkenny, Ireland, I pursued further education in Art, Home Design, and Home Staging, culminating in an internationally recognized Diploma in Interior Design from The Interior Design Institute. I continuously upskill to stay abreast of new materials, technologies, and trends, ensuring I meet my clients’ evolving needs and preferences.

What We Do
Yvonne Treacy Interiors is an independant Interior Design practice based in Kilkenny, Ireland. We offer a professional bespoke service aimed to create an environment that reflects our clients own personal taste while giving their home its own unique style.
We believe that interiors must be comfortable and functional spaces that are esthetically pleasing but also a space designed to relax and feel calm in. Sustainable and high quality materials are key where possible and we love choosing timeless peices that clients can continue enjoying for many years to come. We always advise up-cycling existing preloved furniture and transforming it into beautiful bespoke pieces before purchasing. This helps us play our part in reducing waste and creating a more sustainable future plus giving our old furinture a new lease in life.
